Angelica Iturralde – Customer Service Representative

I am Angelica. After I graduated last 2017 with a Degree in Tourism Management, I started my first job in a Visa Consulting Company as an Admin Assistant. I worked there for two years and a half years and it was a superb experience. Learning new tools, nurturing my skill and knowledge was very important, making friends and creating great experiences. I am very lucky to be part of a company that loves and cherishes its employees. But because of the pandemic, the company needed to close and I had to go back to my hometown and leave the company.

I then started my career in BPO because of the pandemic, that’s the most in-demand job at that time, working from home was very essential and safe. My experience in BPO is the most challenging job that I ever experienced. Being in customer service was never an easy job. It’s thrilling and at the same time, it’s satisfying.

I can justify that working remotely is a perfect fit for my lifestyle. This job can give me a work-life balance while giving me a lot of time with my family and my precious cutie dog. As a VA, I work part-time as a Reservation Agent for almost 6 months. I also have experience in cold calling and appointment settings.

With my last client, I worked as a Property Management Assistant. This is the best experience I got so far as a Virtual Assistant. I can feel like I’m working in an office again. Dealing with different concerns, making marketing descriptions, answering phone calls. Dealing with vendors, tenants, and property owners.

I am lucky to find such wonderful and kind clients. Making them proud and happy gives me confidence and makes my day even brighter even though I am working at night. (LOL that’s a joke). Being appreciated by your manager or supervisor feels so good.

When I’m not working, I always have time for my cute dog. I love her so much, she’s a grumpy dog but she’s adorable. I’m also reading manga and watching anime. For me, manga gives a lot of lessons, motivation, and teamwork.
