Kris Alconada – Customer Support Representative, Data Entry

It’s my pleasure to introduce myself, my name is Kris Marie Alconada, I am 34 years old, with two kids, from Batangas City. I am originally from Iloilo City but since I got separated from my husband, I decided to stay here in Batangas city with my sisters.

School

I graduated from Central Philippines University, (Iloilo) where, I took up a Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Management.

Jobs

Well, let me start with my first job. I worked as a customer service representative in a BPO company. My task was basically handling billing concerns for our US clients. But due to the pressure of working in a graveyard shift, I got sick, and decided to do freelance jobs at home so I can also look after my kids.

Freelancing

I’ve worked as an Online English teacher back 2014 where I taught Japanese students for 2 years. It was a rewarding job, but then it came to a point where I wanted to venture out and be socially active too. So I decided to work as an office-based Tutor for Chinese Students. Because of my hard work, I got promoted as a Faculty Mentor, where I no longer teach, but rather lead a team of teachers and monitor their performances, did their metrics, calculate their monthly incentives, and also I get to coach them should the need arise.

Right after that, it came to a point where I wanted to practice my profession. I received an offer to manage a Derma Clinic so I grabbed it.

But after working there for years, I decided to go back to my niche, being a Customer Service/Admin support and I can say that I am really enthusiastic about my work.

My niche

I decided to work as a virtual assistant for AI automation assistance to help hospitals and clinics make their Revenue Cycle Management easier to handle. I am enjoying the job that I have and recently, I decided to enroll in some online courses, specifically FB management, FB ads and Virtual Assistant to continually grow my career and try to unlock my skills.

I’ve worked with clients professionally for a variety of businesses for over 5 years now, and I truly believe that the skills that I have in my previous experiences will surely be used to help my clients. I am dedicated, hard-working, a fast learner, loyal, and a team player’s individual. I strive in a positive workplace, but I can also work under pressure.

Goals

Talking about my goals, my short-term goal is to be on a platform where I can grow my career along with the organization’s growth.

On the other hand, my long-term goal is that I want to be one of the reasons for the success of the organization. So I am glad to be in this place where I can be me.
