Anjelaine Fritzie Catada – CSR, Administration
Hi! My name is Anjelaine Fritzie but you can call me Anje for short.
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education. I was a consistent honour student awardee and Dean’s Lister Awardee. I am one of the few students in our University as well who was able to avail fixed grant scholarship. It took me almost 5 years to finish college. It was a roller coaster ride for me and was never easy. Every day was like a battle to win because attending college has so many things to consider, especially financially. That is the reason why I had to stop during my second year in college and I was just 18 years old at that time. I luckily applied and got hired by a BPO company in our city and I served the company for 2 years as a Customer Service Representative Tier II. It took me 2 years to save and I decided to go back to my studies.
When I reached 3rd year, I was really struggling financially. Then I decided to take on a part-time job to tutor primary to secondary students. Then when the 4th and last year in college came when all these requirements, tuition fees and all other fees increased, I decided to look for another part-time job. Luckily, I was hired again as a Customer Care Service Representative for 5 months. Then I decided to resign because my shift was transferred from 12am – 9am which conflicted with my studies. I tried to ask management for consideration, but they couldn’t give it to me as I was not yet regular, and I had signed a contract that says I need to be fully committed to the job. But, it was not enough. My expenses were growing, so when Oct 2018 came, I decided to apply again with another BPO as an Email and Chat Support Analyst. I served the company from October to March and decided to resign again because I could no longer serve two masters at the same time. When graduation was fast approaching I was really busy filling all my requirements just to graduate and I couldn’t risk the moment to finally wear my toga and receive my diploma.
Finally, the day came when all of my hard work paid off. After graduation, I looked for a stable job right away and gladly I found a client in the USA. I became his Virtual Assistant with his Real Estate business. My tasks included data entry, prospecting, lead generation and management, and even marketing. I was supposed to resign in July but he kept asking me to work for him – even for just 4 hours a day. I had decided to resign because I was hired by a BPO company as a Virtual Assistant to an Australian company. I grabbed the opportunity because of the shift schedule. I am involved more with admin tasks such as email management, data entry and storage, creating budget tracker, processing invoices, drip campaigns, and preparing an accurate quote for an event as per request by clients. And so I worked in the morning with my client from Australia and in the evening for 4 hours with my client from the USA.
With my experience, I must say that I am well versed with tools and platforms such as Asana, Google Suite, Canva, Powtoon, Dropbox, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Foodstorm, Cin7 and Rosterfy. I also consider myself as a creative critical thinker and a problem solver at the same time. I am a responsible person, so whatever tasks that are delegated to me I see to it that I finish them on time without sacrificing quality.
I take initiative and can work under pressure with less supervision. I am a very compassionate person because the client’s growth is also my growth. I am not just a typical VA that works for the sake of having a job or working, but someone who is really passionate about everything I do. Working with clients is something I want to do 🙂 I believe that I am growing professionally when I am being challenged every single day.
My skills and experience will be a great value to your company. I’m looking forward to being part of your growing team. Thank you and talk to you soon. 🙂
